Problems with e-mail stationery in Netscape 6.1 or later
Stationery created with Scrippy works correctly in Netscape Mail with the following exceptions:
There is a line of extra blank space displayed just above the stationery.
Sound files do not play.
"Tickers" (small text messages displayed in the status bar at the bottom) are not displayed.
Visually the stationery should display properly. We hope that a future version of Netscape will make it possible to fix the problems noted above.
If you are seeing a message at the top of the e-mail saying that the message is not displaying as intended, it may be that your browser setting for "scripting" has been changed. (This feature in e-mail is controlled by an option set in the browser.)
As far as we know it is safe to use the default setting which has scripting enabled. We are not aware of any virus which can be transmitted because scripting is enabled.
To check and fix this setting: Run Netscape, then click on Edit and then on Preferences... In the resulting "Preferences" window, on the left side click on Advanced. After that check the setting on the right side near the top labelled "Enable JavaScript for Mail and News". If this setting is not checked, click on it to enable scripting. Click OK to exit.
